Production
Feedstock
RD is produced from renewable feedstocks, including agricultural waste, fats, and oils. We don’t use food crops like corn, soy, or palm oil, ensuring we support farming practices that are good for our land and water while avoiding potential impacts on our food supply.
Process
World Energy’s RD is produced using the hydroprocessed esters and fatty acids (HEFA) process. Our method refines inedible agricultural fats and waste oils into RD through the use of hydrogen (hydrogenation).
Distribution
World Energy currently delivers fuel by truck. We’re working toward dramatically improving biofuel logistics in Southern California with pipelines that can optimize biofuel distribution.
