Joe’s experience spans the transportation energy value chain and electric power sector with an emphasis on energy transition. He now leads World Energy’s Business Development and Project Development effort to initiate carbon-reduction projects in hard-to-decarbonize sectors. Joe specializes in efforts at World Energy’s Los Angeles/Paramount site (WELA). 

Joe’s past assignments in engineering, operations improvements, commercial operations, strategic planning, and M&A are well suited to help World Energy achieve its mission to make meaningful carbon reduction a reality.

• Evaluating technology and business case for sustainable aviation fuel and low-carbon hydrogen

• Leading Shell’s best practice developments in hydroprocessing technology
• Improving operations discipline to enhance plant production capacity
• Achieving record regional earnings by being a first mover in new feedstock and optimizing commercial channels of fuel sales
• Driving revenue growth through acquisitions and strategic investment in the energy value chain
• Developing strategic plans for California utilities to achieve net-zero by 2045
