As the Director of Product Sustainability at World Energy, Karen plays a critical role in advancing sustainability claims for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and pioneering efforts in novel products such as green steel and hydrogen. She collaborates across teams to support commercial growth in new business services and ensure compliance with technical sustainability standards, contributing to World Energy’s leadership in the energy transition and net-zero carbon goals.

Previously, as the Industrial Carbon Programs Lead at Truterra LLC, Karen strategically guided the carbon team into new market territories, developing innovative strategies that positioned Land O’Lakes as a leader in industrial carbon programs. At Gevo Inc., she established life cycle analysis models and created a comprehensive sustainability framework in partnership with entities like Argonne National Labs.
