Book the Fuel, Claim the Benefits

With Book & Claim, companies can take advantage of advanced biofuels like sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) without taking delivery of the physical fuel.

The Most Efficient and Cost-Effective Way to Use Biofuels

Book & Claim is helping grow the American biofuels industry by enabling companies anywhere to benefit from their use, regardless of where the fuel is physically produced or delivered. This opens the door for leading companies to address their transportation-related energy needs and impact efficiently, effectively, and innovatively.

Drives innovation

Corporate leadership today scales supply for tomorrow

Reduces transportation and logistics

Minimizes fuel transport costs, logistics, and emissions

Builds confidence

Ensures transparency and protects against double counting

How It Works

Book & Claim is a chainofcustody model that allows a fuel’s environmental attributes to be separated from the physical fuel and tracked on their own. The environmental attributes are calculated, transparently tracked, and allocated to the appropriate organization as credible, traceable, and verified in-sector emissions reductions. The physical fuel is added to the fuel system close to our production facility.

A flowchart illustrating how the environmental attributes of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) are separated from the physical fuel and sold as a separate product. The process begins with feedstock, moves to SAF refineries, then SAF production. At the blending step, the flowchart splits into two pathways where the environmental attributes split off from the physical fuel. The first pathway is ‘Decarbonization as a Service’ with steps including environmental attributes, moves to registry, then to customer allocation, and finally to retirement. The second pathway is ‘SAF as Fuel,’ showing physical fuel, moving to transportation, then to airports, and finally to airlines.
